Join Team YES! for the 2010 Red Ribbon Ride

The Red Ribbon Ride is a 4-day, 300-mile ride to raise awareness and support for HIV/AIDS organizations in Minnesota. The ‘09 TEAM YES! raised almost $30,000.

We welcome participants, donors and volunteers to join us for the 2010 Red Ribbon Ride scheduled for July 15-18. The YWCA supports this event through providing training opportunities, team jerseys and donations toward housing.

Monthly Rider Clinics Scheduled

The Red Ribbon Ride will host rider clinics at the YWCA of Minneapolis - the Ride's In-Kind Endurance Training Partner. Each month will offer general information and various ride topics like Fundraising, Your Body/Your Bike, Hydration, Flat Tire Repair Demo (bring your bike), What to wear/pack, and more. These free clinics are open to all Riders and Crew.

Dates: February 20, March 20, April 10, May 15 (Saturdays)
Time: 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM
Location: Midtown YWCA, 2121 East Lake Street

  • Check in at the front desk and say you're there for the RRR clinic/workshop. Photo ID will be required to enter the YWCA facility
  • Parking is free but limited

February's clinic will be facilitated by Sandy Agustin, Red Ribbon Rider Coach Chair, who will be celebrating her 12th year riding her bike to raise money and awareness for HIV/AIDS causes and survivors. The clinic topic is THE RIDE 101: Everything you wanted to know, but where afraid to ask (anyone else!); what is the Ride?; do I have the right bike?; Fundraising basics, ideas and tips; Training fundamentals and safety.
