Fitness and Nutrition

We are the YWCA of Minneapolis and fitness and nutrition are important to us! We're able to provide fitness programs you probably won't find anywhere else.

  • Free health & fitness memberships are available to all enrolled families.
  • Swimming is part of the curriculum.
  • Gymnasiums give children room to run regardless of the weather.
  • Indoor and outdoor play spaces help develop coordination and motor skills.
  • Field trips around the city take place regularly.
  • Nutritious and fresh familystyle breakfasts, lunches and snacks provide the energy necessary for a successful day.
