Women's Triathlon doubles in size, moves to Minneapolis
More than 1,000 women triathletes are registered for the Third Annual YWCA Women's Triathlon on August 15, 2010. Moving the race venue to Lake Nokomis in Minneapolis increased the registration capacity and celebrates an urban backdrop for the only all-women triathlon in Minnesota.

The YWCA Downtown Children's Center has been identified as an Engaging Diverse Families exemplary program by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) - the nation's leading organization of early childhood professionals. The YWCA Early Childhood Education program is one of only ten programs nationwide to receive this honor.
